Phalanx Software Ltd. are looking for a Business Sales Executive experienced in the technology industry.

Phalanx Software is led by Kyle Pullicino, a software developer with a Masters in Computer Science. Kyle has been working in the iGaming and financial services industry for over five years. He has seen how inefficient these enterprises can get as they grow and Phalanx Software's mission is based on tackling these problems widespread throughout the industry.

Requirements

Applicants must:

  • be familiar with working within the technology industry;
  • understand the terminology typically used within the industry;
  • have been working in a sales-related role for at least two years;
  • be comfortable with using word processing and other office software;
  • have a professional attitude and be good communicators;
  • use a pragmatic approach when dealing with clients and colleagues;
  • be willing to learn and truly understand the business domains that we work in; and,
  • reside in Malta or Gozo.

The Role

As a business sales executive, the chosen applicant will be mainly responsible for finding new business opportunities for the company and converting them into long-term partners. They will negotiate with clients and liaise with the rest of the team to come up with the necessary technology solutions. As part of their duties, the chosen business sales executive is also required to find and travel to events in an effort to expand the company's network of business leads and clients.

Since Phalanx Software is a relatively new company, the chosen applicant will also have the unique opportunity of helping the company grow. In particular, they will have a say on the company's overall sales process, the tools that we use and how we conduct our business in general.

The chosen applicant will be required to work remotely from their home and the company will grant the employee help with setting up their home office.

The budgeted gross salary for this role is of €20,000 per annum. The selected applicant will also receive commissions deriving from sales they brought to completion. The chosen applicant is expected to work 32 hours per week on a full-time basis.
